Apolipoproteins are the primary protein component of lipoproteins, which are responsible for the transport of lipids. Apolipoproteins play an important role in the preservation of the structural integrity and solubility of lipoproteins, as well as in the recognition of lipoprotein receptors and the regulation of certain enzymes involved in the metabolism of lipoproteins. Along with other routine apolipoprotein b test in Delhi is used to help determine an individual's risk of developing cardiovascular disease (CVD). This screening is not performed on the general population but rather on patients who have a family history of heart disease and/or hyperlipidemia to help determine the cause of the patient's condition (especially in situations in which the LDL-cholesterol cannot be calculated).
